Genesis® or Renaissance® warranties require activation within 30 days of purchase. You may activate your Genesis® or Renaissance® warranty by following the directions on this page. Once your warranty has been activated, your coverage is in force. You must still retain your original receipt and registration number as proof of purchase in the event of a claim. After completing the activation process, you will be prompted to print a confirmation page. We suggest that you retain this confirmation in a secure place. In the event of a claim, we will retrieve your record from our database to process the claim. In the unlikely event that we cannot locate your activation record, the confirmation page will serve as proof of activation.

Warranty Details Following Activation:
Mercer Tool Corp. promises the original purchaser to repair or replace any knife found to be defective in material or workmanship when put to everyday use and cared for according to instructions. Minor imperfections, surface markings due to shipping, and slight color variations are normal. This warranty excludes damage from misuse or abuse, such as dishwasher use, neglect, accident, alteration, fire, or theft. This warranty covers only knives and no other product. Incidental, special, consequential or indirect damages are not covered by this guarantee.
